Santiago Bilinkis is an entrepreneur, venture capitalist and executive, most notable for founding office supply delivery business Officenet in Argentina with Andy Freire. In late 1996 Bilinkis and Freire came up with the idea for Officenet and convinced four angel investors to help them develop the concept. The company was acquired by Staples Inc. in 2004. Santiago Bilinkis has also a strong involvement in entrepreneurship (sitting at the Board of institutions such as Endeavor Foundation, Prosperar Foundation) and public transparency (as member of the Board of Administration of CIPPEC]. Santiago was selected as an Endeavor (non-profit) entrepreneur in 1998 and currently serves on Endeavor Argentina's Board of Directors. Endeavor is a global non-profit that selects and supports High-Impact Entrepreneurs in emerging markets. He was also a keynote speaker at dozens of events as MenorcaTechTalk, South American Business Forum, La Red Innova, Pecha Kucha, and Día de Weblog. Santiago was one of the organizers of the first TEDxBuenosAires and is currently organizing TEDxRiodelaPlata.
